Joshua X 2
This little boy has more energy than any other four year old I've ever met. He loves to jump off of things, flip away from things, cart-wheel out of things, and fall into things. One of his favorite places is the zoo, and surprisingly, when he's spying on a tiger, or gazing at a monkey he's calm and collected. This particular photo is one of my favorites. Joshy was so entranced by the giant orangutan swinging ever so graceful from limb to limb. It's a rare moment to see this little rascal standing still.

Eid Mubarak!
Today I celebrated Eid with my Aunt and her husband, Javed's family! Eid is a muslim holiday that is cepebrated at the end of Ramadan. Ramadan is a month long fast where they do not eat all day, and each night at dusk, they eat as much as possible to keep themselves full for the entire next day. Sounds great, right? At the end of Ramadan is Eid which is a whole day of family, food, and fun. Everyone wears the traditional Sawler Kameez and Saris. The more extravagant the better! My Aunt's daughter, Annie is the most beautiful little girl. She would sit on this bench and watch all of the people enter and exit the house. She was so easily entertained by all the bright clothing, and delicious smells of Bangoli food that filled the room! I had to take advantage, and snap this adorable shot of her.
